IMI: 8th call for projects

IMI will shortly launch its 8th Call for proposals, giving researchers from diverse sectors the opportunity to participate in ambitious public-private partnerships that will pave the way for the development of the medicines of the future.
The 8th call will have 2 axis:
  • 2 topics will be linked to the “Anti-Microbial Resistance”;
  • 4 new other topics will be dealt with: « Development of drug-drug combinations », « Developing an aetiological based taxonomy of human disease », « Building a European bank to hold and supply iPS stem cells », « Developing combination therapies ».

IMI warmly encourages SMEs, patients’ organisations, regulatory authorities, academic teams, industry, hospitals and other organisations to form consortia and apply for participation in the new IMI projects. More information on the indicative topic: www.imi.europa.eu
